Subject Leader: Social Work & Sociology (UN2661)

The Faculty of Health and Society is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Social Work academic to lead the Social Studies subject group. The successful candidate will be a member of the Faculty’s senior leadership team, working with the Dean and Deputy Dean of Faculty to provide strategic direction and leadership in relation to the Subject.

The Subject Leader is critical to the impact, engagement and wellbeing of subject team members. You will be required to demonstrate an incisive and proactive leadership approach with academic credibility and authority.

The post holder will undertake operational responsibility for specified staff, financial and physical resources aimed at ensuring an excellent student experience in their area.
