Senior Information Advisor

Kingston University

We are looking for a highly motivated information professional to join the Academic Engagement team of Library and Learning Services. You will support research, and learning and teaching activities within Kingston School of Art, based at the Knights Park Campus. Acting as the primary contact point between Library and Learning Service and designated parts of Kingston School of Art, you will support a broad range of users.

You will manage resources for your subject area, develop and deliver information skills teaching, and contribute to high quality customer focused information and support delivered through the LRCs.

The Person

The successful candidate will have excellent communication, interpersonal and ICT skills, a professional library qualification or equivalent, together with experience of working in higher education or a related field. We are looking for a well-qualified, articulate and knowledgeable information professional with experience of supporting academic staff and students with finding and using information resources and with teaching information literacy skills.

A demonstrable commitment to delivering a high quality service and knowledge of recent developments in learning and teaching support, including a demonstrable understandable of digital developments and the implications for learning, teaching and research and the provision of services and stock.
