The Information Advice and Guidance (IAG) Team is crucial in supporting students to overcome challenges to learning and achieve positive outcomes, both in their study and in respect of their life skills. They support the learner journey from pre-enrolment through to positive destination. The post-holder will be expected to work across the group’s main campus’s supporting teams on each site.

The IAG team is made up of Information Officers, Student Finance, Reception and Careers. The aim of the team are to remove barriers by providing support and impartial advice and guidance in a timely manner. You will support your team members who are dealing with sometimes complex and challenging issues in areas such as careers, guidance, finance, safeguarding, and equality and diversity.

This role is also an excellent opportunity to utilise or develop your people and process management skills.

  • You’ll motivate and support staff to achieve their best performance and you’ll coach and develop team members during their career at the College.
  • You’ll also have the relevant experience to support team members with queries relating to individual cases and to support hands on when workloads require.
  • We require you to have a Level 3 or above qualification in IAG or relevant subject area and possess English and Maths at GCSE.
