Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Sport and Exercise Psychology

The School of Sport and Exercise Sciences seeks to strategically develop its world-leading profile of teaching and research excellence by the appointment of leading academics across the core disciplines of Sport and Exercise Sciences. You will be expected to develop and deliver research-informed/led teaching in Sport and Exercise Psychology across its well established and highly successful BPS (British Psychological Society) accredited undergraduate and postgraduate curricula, which includes both its M.Sc. and HCPC approved (Health and Care Professions Council) Professional Doctorate programme).

You will also be expected to contribute to the supervision/tutorial support of Sport and Exercise Psychology students in the School, including pastoral and academic (research and applied placement based learning) guidance within the School. The post also provides the appointed person with an opportunity to challenge, extend and enhance the Sport and Exercise Psychology research activity within the School of Sport and Exercise Sciences. In this regard, the emphasis of this post is to extend our world-leading research, impact and student competency within the Sport and Exercise Psychology discipline.
