About The Role

The Medtech Cluster Development Manager is a newly created post shared across the Innovation Agency and the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) and you will be employed by STFC reporting to the Campus Business Development Director. As the role is jointly funded by STFC and the Innovation Agency, there is a requirement to work across both organisations to deliver a co-ordinated action plan to ensure the continued growth and success of the Cluster and to build cross-disciplinary links with a broader range of activities on the Sci-Tech Daresbury campus and the surrounding region.

About You

You will be educated to degree level in a business or STEM related subject or have equivalent experience and will have strong stakeholder management experience at a senior level.

You must have extensive and proven experience in life sciences/med tech/healthcare organisation or industry in a business or commercial development role.

You will be able to deliver presentations to large audiences and will have excellent written and oral communication skills.

You will be willing and able to travel across the North West region of the UK and be able to work outside of standard office hours.

It would be beneficial if you had a professional or post graduate qualification or similar (technical or business discipline).

Evidence of implementing new initiatives/programmes and seeing them through to fruition and bid writing experience is preferred but not essential.
