The appointment will be on UCL Grade 7. The salary range will be £34,635 - £41,864 per annum Grade 7 £43,032 per annum Grade 8, inclusive of London Allowance.

A Research Associate/Senior Research Associate position is available in the laboratory of Dr Richard Day ( ), Research Department of Metabolism & Experimental Therapeutics, UCL Division of Medicine. The MRC-funded position offers an exciting opportunity to join a vibrant multidisciplinary research team involving scientists and clinicians developing a novel biomaterial-based approach for cell therapy and regenerative medicine.

For appointment at grade 7 level applicants must have an Undergraduate degree in a biomedical or life science discipline and a PhD in a biomedical or life science discipline and previous experience with muscle biology studies.  For appointment at grade 8 applicants must also have experience of writing funding applications and peer reviewed publications of high quality research.
