The appointment will be on UCL Grade 7. The salary range will be £30,316 - £31, 967 per annum £34, 635 - £41, 864 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.

The  post holder will make a lasting contribution to UCL’s research-based education strategy, through an extensive programme of research and data collection, as well as preparation for scholarship. In addition he/she will lead on an established research project.

With excellent interpersonal communication skills, you will have a passion for helping others develop their approaches to education, and a commitment to the principles and ideas of the UCL Connected Curriculum.

Your research ability, professional attitude, willingness to learn, engage colleagues, and ability to remain tactful will all be important for your success in the role.

This appointment is offered until 31st July 2018.

The successful candidate will have or be in the process of obtaining a PhD with extensive use of qualitative methodology. The PhD need not be in Higher Education Studies, but it should be from the social sciences.

Have excellent interpersonal communication skills and a passion for helping others develop their approaches to education.

Appointment at Grade 7 is dependent upon having been awarded a PhD; if this is not the case, initial appointment will be at Research Assistant Grade 6B (salary £30,316 - £31,967 per annum) with payment at Grade 7 being backdated to the date of final submission of the PhD thesis.
