School Support Coordinator

Basis: Part Time (22 hours per week)

Aston Law School, a part of Aston Business School, is seeking a part time Support Co-ordinator to support its academic, enterprise and research activities.  Over the last 5 years the school has grown significantly and it is an exciting time to join. We are setting up a new law clinic to directly support local business and give students real case studies to work with.  Working alongside an existing co-ordinator and in a friendly and collaborative school this position will help coordinate activity effectively.

The ideal candidate should have strong administrative experience and be used to working independently to complete varied tasks to relevant deadlines. Good organisational and interpersonal skills and written and oral communication will be important in this role. It would be desirable for candidates to have had some experience of working in higher education administration and to have gained some knowledge and understanding of processes, procedures and systems common in the sector.

The preferred days worked per week would be Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, but this is open to discussion.

Interviews will be held in the morning of either the 7 or 8 March 2018.
