The Institute is a world-leading research centre for investigating the causes and mechanisms underlying diseases of the cardiovascular and respiratory systems which are highlighted themes of the Faculty Research Strategy. NHLI takes a bench-to-bedside approach with research projects from basic science all the way through to translational clinical medicine in collaboration with our NHS partners, and is recognised as an international centre of research excellence in terms of measures such as publications, grants and REF scores.

As a member of the NHLI, you will be working within the Inflammation, Development and Repair Section of the Respiratory Science Division.
