Senior Research Financial Administrator

Job Purpose

To provide high quality post-award research financial administration support to College research support offices and academic research staff, ensuring maximum recovery from funders while adhering to their terms and conditions. To develop and maintain knowledge of funders rules, processes and systems and to provide specialist pre and post award advice and information to College research support offices and academic research staff. To oversee the activities of the Research Financial Administrators to ensure effective performance and service delivery.

Salary will be on the Management, Professional and Administrative Grade, level 6, £28,098 - £31,604 per annum.

This position is offered on a full time and open-ended basis: Monday to Friday.

New entrants to the University will be required to serve a probationary period of 6 months.

The successful applicant will be eligible to join the Universities’ Superannuation Scheme. Further information regarding the scheme is available from the Superannuation Officer, who is also prepared to advise on questions relating to the transfer of Superannuation benefits.
