HR Adviser (Maternity Cover)

Job Purpose

To provide professional HR advice and support as a professional business partner for designated service areas to ensure the delivery of a pro-active, solutions focussed HR service aligned to the achievement of the University’s strategic objectives.

As a member of the College HR team, contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures on a local and College/University-wide basis.

Standard Terms & Conditions

Salary will be on the Management, Professional and Administrative Grade, level 7, £34,520 - £38,833 per annum.

This post is full time and is to cover maternity for at least 6 months until the substantive post holder returns from maternity leave.

New entrants to the University will be required to serve a probationary period of 6 months.

The successful applicant will be eligible to join the Universities’ Superannuation Scheme. Further information regarding the scheme is available from the Superannuation Officer, who is also prepared to advise on questions relating to the transfer of Superannuation benefits.
