Clinical Teaching /Training Fellow in Medical Education (Year 1-3)

The appointment will be on UCL Grade Clinical Training Fellow - Speciality Training Registrar. The salary range will be £35,509 - £51,154 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.

UCL Medical School is looking for a Clinical Teaching Fellow to support the delivery of high quality medical education. The postholder will be working with the lead for Years 1-3 to identify, develop and evaluate targeted education development and innovation in the early years of the course. They will also participate in the delivery of Medical School led staff development including targeted staff development for early year’s teachers and facilitating on a range of courses within the department. The post holder will participate in the development, planning, coordination, delivery and evaluation of postgraduate courses, including the Training to Teach (TtT), Foundation Programme teaching, staff development courses and contribute to activities as part of the Medical School Education Consultancy (MSEC).

The post will be for a duration of 1 year, in the first instance.

The successful candidate will have a Medical degree, enrolment in an approved training programme, and GMC full registration. They will have experience of teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and have proven ability and commitment to teach in a clinical and non-clinical setting.

Candidates without a National Training Number will be appointed as a Clinical Teaching Fellow grade CL7 (salary £34,962 - £43,522 per annum) pro rata inclusive of London Allowance.
