About the role

As International Strategy Manager, you will oversee and manage the diverse activities involved in the delivery of MRC’s international strategic aims including working with internal, external and international stakeholders and supporting the MRC’s European and BREXIT policy related activities.

You will provide the UK National Contact Point function for health research in the EU’s Framework Programme (Horizon 2020) and support the management of a small team. You will also liaise with international funding partners to develop and agree upon the planning and implementation of joint initiatives.

About you

You must be educated to degree level or equivalent and have experience of working with a variety of stakeholders in an administration team environment. You’ll have strong project management skills including the ability to work on multiple areas, prioritise workload effectively and deliver to deadlines.

Excellent problem solving, attention to detail and IT skills are required, especially Word and Excel for finance monitoring and data analysis.
