HR Administrator (SMD)

Queen Mary University of London - Human Resources Division

Working within the HR Services team, this role supports the provision of day-to-day HR transactional activity for Institutes within our School of Medicine & Dentistry.

You will administer all transactional activity for designated QMUL departments, provide professional advice on administrative procedures, act as the first point of contact for HR queries, update the integrated HR / Payroll database and coordinate the end-to-end recruitment process. Customer service and keen organisation and multitasking are key areas of focus of this role.

You should have significant administrative experience working in an HR environment and the ability to work accurately and efficiently, paying excellent attention to detail. A good knowledge of standard software packages (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel) and HR software is essential. Experience using i-GRasp and/or ResourceLink is desirable.

This post is available full time. We would like the successful candidate to be able to start work as soon as possible.

The starting salary will be in the range from £26,717 - £32,956 per annum, depending on experience. The benefits package for this post includes 30 days’ leave per annum and a defined benefit pension scheme.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
