SITS Support Team Leader

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to join the new SITS Support and Development team within Academic Services.  You will manage the operation of the support team and will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high quality, responsive services to facilitate the effective day to day running of the SITS student record system. You will be responsible for planning and coordinating the submission of student related statutory returns, and supporting related ongoing data maintenance and quality.

Working alongside the SITS Support and Development Manager you will plan the work of the support team and allocate resources so you will have proven experience of planning and resource management in a similar or related context. Areas of responsibility of the team will include management of support queries, development and maintenance of operational reports and user access protocols, development of system fixes, planning and facilitating complex system changes, maintenance of SITS ‘e:Vision’ solutions and planning and managing automation routines.

Excellent communication skills are required to engage with a wide range of stakeholders and respond to user feedback to support the ongoing development and enhancement of the SITS system.  You will require the ability to think logically and work systematically to bring together business needs and technological capabilities. You will have excellent team leadership skills and proven experience of managing a team including recruitment and induction, appraisal and performance management and supporting staff development.
