The Department of Social, Therapeutic and Community Studies are seeking to recruit a dynamic and experienced, research active, academic-practitioner to lead and teach on our innovative and interdisciplinary MA in Understanding Domestic Violence and Sexual Abuse (MAUDVSA). You will have considerable experience in studying and working in the areas of Domestic Violence and/or Sexual Abuse, an ability to critique a range of perspectives (e.g. Feminist, Psychological and Socio-political) and a capacity to engage constructively with the tensions between these perspectives.

You will be responsible for the ongoing running of the programme alongside teaching, assessment and dissertation supervision. You will also be expected to take an active part in departmental administrative activities and potentially management roles. As a Research Active member of staff, you will be expected to contribute to the research activities, supervise PhD students, publish in academic journal and secure/ show a clear potential to secure external research funding.
