Senior Lecturer in Political Theory

The department of Political Science and International Studies (POLSIS) in the School of Government and Society is seeking to appoint a Senior Lecturer in Political Theory with a specialism in global and international justice. The post holder will be expected to create and disseminate knowledge through international quality original research, involving publication, supervision and external funding applications.

The post holder will also develop and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Political Theory and related subjects and undertake administration in the department and School (as appropriate to the level of appointment).

The Candidates should hold a PhD and they should have a record of publications, supervision, managing research projects and teaching commensurate with the seniority of the position.

Full time starting salary is normally in the range £49,148 to £56,950. With potential progression once in post to £74,259 a year.
