Postgraduate Research Associate in Electrical Impedance Measurements on Single Particles and Molecules

University of Oxford - Physical and Theoretical Chemistry

Professor Madhavi Krishnan's laboratory is looking for talented and highly motivated postdoctoral research associates with a strong background in physics, biophysics, or physical chemistry, to join them in taking forward an exciting emerging area of microscopy-based single molecule measurement. This specific project requires the candidate to have experience in impedance spectroscopy or electrical measurements in the fluid phase.

The ideal candidate will hold a PhD in physics, physical chemistry, biophysics, or a related area, or have submitted a PhD thesis prior to taking up the appointment. Candidates with a strong background in Electrochemistry and/or Impedance Measurements are strongly encouraged to apply.

Only applications received before 12.00 midday on 31 May 2018 can be considered.

The University of Oxford is a member of the Athena SWAN Charter and holds an institutional Bronze Athena SWAN award. The Department was awarded a Silver Athena SWAN Award in September 2015.
