Candidates must have a master degree in a relevant discipline, preferably PhD degree (or near completion), as well as excellent communication and presentation skills in English. Experience of teaching and tutorial work in relevant subjects at undergraduate and postgraduate level in an international English-speaking institution is also essential.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach lectures and seminars in economics across all years of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and contribute to the supervision of undergraduate and master’s dissertations.

Salary will be within the range of RMB299,872– RMB358,062 per annum depending on skills and experience (salary progression beyond this is subject to performance). In addition, an attractive package including accommodation allowance, travel allowance and insurance will be provided for international appointments.

The post will initially be offered on a fixed term contract with the University of Nottingham, Ningbo, China for a period of three years starting 1 September 2018. This contract may be extended on an indefinite basis by mutual agreement, subject to revised terms and conditions.
