Online Education Services (OES) was established to challenge and advance the online education industry, providing a new student-centric approach to adult education. OES creates engaging online learning experiences for students who are not catered for by traditional campus-based offerings. Its services support partners to reach a new demographic of students across a broader range of national and international markets.

Following impressive success in Australia, OES is now expanding internationally to further leverage its successful model. Developing a UK business is a top priority.

The role:

Supporting the newly appointed UK Director of New Partnerships, the Bid Manager will primarily be responsible for all tender related activity including:

  • Coordinating and producing bid/tender responses.
  • Managing and coordinating a pipeline of bid / tenders and work in progress.
  • Identifying and researching prospective new Education provider clients.
  • Ensuring OES are aware of all relevant tenders and market opportunities.
  • Articulating detailed and complex topics in a clear and persuasive way for prospective partner university clients.
  • Producing other sales focused communications including pitch documents, RFP, RFI and presentations, to support the acquisition of new partner university clients
  • Working with a range of internal stakeholders at OES Head Office, Australia (e.g. Academic, Business Development Finance, Operations, IT, Marketing)
  • Working to tight deadlines and targets
  • High attention to detail and a focus on quality

The successful candidate will demonstrate a track record of securing new business through bid and tender processes. This person should be comfortable working autonomously, whilst benefiting from the great backing and support from the team in Australia. As such, a proven ability to develop effective working relationships across a range of stakeholders is a key requirement.

Initiative, curiosity and someone who will enjoy the challenges of an agile and fast-paced start-up, are also vital to success in this role.
