Salary: Grade 8
£39,992 to £47,722 per annum, with potential to progress to £53,691 through sustained exceptional contribution (open ended position)

This is an exciting time for Sociology at Sheffield, with a decision to invest in two new appointments in the area of Digital Media and Society.

The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to the Department’s portfolio by maintaining our high standards of teaching through delivering modules in Digital Media and Society. You will contribute to our BA and MA programmes in this area.

You will have a PhD in relevant discipline, have a proven teaching ability with a growing record of quality research publications. Expertise in Digital Media and Society and experience of teaching in the subject area, ideally at both undergraduate and postgraduate level is essential. You will be expected to represent the Department in the wider University and promote and represent the University and the discipline nationally and internationally.
