Director of Clinical Skills (part-time, fixed-term secondment)

The School of Health Sciences (SoHS) at the University of Nottingham, one of the 4 Schools in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, provides a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the fields of nursing, midwifery, physiotherapy, and sports rehabilitation.

The School is seeking to appoint a Director of Clinical Skills to provide strategic direction for the development of clinical skills, simulation, and assessment for both undergraduate and postgraduate courses to ensure that healthcare professionals are fit for purpose to provide quality care to patients and clients.

The role holder will work in close collaboration with the University of Nottingham Clinical Skills Centre based within Queens Medical Centre and be part of the Centre’s governance, alongside the Clinical Skills Manager and Director of Clinical Skills for Medicine.

This part-time position is a 24 hours per week fixed-term secondment from 1 June 2018 until 29 May 2020.
