Full time, Fixed Term (2 Years, with potential for extension)

This is an exciting opportunity for a research fellow to take part in the wide range of ongoing paediatric research activity primarily based within the Paediatric Infectious Diseases Research Group (PIDRG), part of the Infection and Immunity Research Centre, the largest of the three Research Centres at St George’s University of London. The principal role of the post holder is to coordinate paediatric infection and vaccine studies.

The post holder will have a strong interest in paediatric infectious diseases, vaccinology, community paediatrics or public health. He or she will also participate in the other clinical and research activities linked to the PIDRG and there will be opportunities to participate in the general paediatric and/or neonatal on-calls rotas if desired. The post is funded for two years in the first instance, but may be renewable.

The salary for this position will be within the CFR range: £32,478 – 42,399 per annum plus London Allowance of £2,162.
