Research Assistant in Sensor Technology

Built Environment and Sustainable Technologies (BEST) Research Institute within the Faculty of Engineering and Technology have funding to develop a novel sensing technology to detect insecticide residue on walls. The role provides the unique opportunity to work with a driven and hardworking research team within the University, along with industrial partners. The post will involve the development and validation of a sensor prototype. You will be self-motivated with a proven record of accomplishment in a relevant engineering discipline.

You will be able to thrive in a team environment, provide help to other members of the team, and contribute to a positive atmosphere in the institute. You will possess excellent communication and customer service skills.

You will ideally have a degree in a relevant subject (or equivalent experience) and ideally have experience of working in a similar or related environment.
