Salary: £25,700 to £27,935 per annum 1 x Permanent Role and 1 x Fixed Term Role to 31/12/2019

The Research, Innovation and Enterprise team has recently undergone an organisation re-design to align its structure with its strategy. As a result of this, and a number of internal moves two Administrative roles (one fixed term) are available within the Careers+ team.

With a focus on supporting students and graduates to achieve positive destinations, the role will provide a high level of administration and project support across the team and will involve a significant degree of communication with students and external partners.

The post-holders will assist the team with the organisation of large, high profile events, maintaining and developing effective administrative systems, and respond to and direct where necessary internal and external communications. The post-holders will also be responsible for managing the university’s online opportunities database, ensuring roles, events and opportunities are promoted and cascaded to relevant cohorts in in a timely fashion. Applicants should have experience of working with spreadsheets and Microsoft packages to produce reports, and using social media to promote opportunities and events.
