We have an exciting opportunity for two Clinical Trials Administrative Coordinators to join the Oxford Trauma group at the Nuffield Department of Orthopaedics, Rheumatology and Musculoskeletal Sciences, to be based at the Kadoorie Critical Care Centre, John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford.

As a Clinical Trials Administrative Coordinator, you will assist the trial managers of the group in successful delivery of research projects, providing a comprehensive and efficient administration and office management service and administrative support for a number of Orthopaedic Trauma Surgery trials. Main duties include providing administration in compliance with applicable legislation and guidance; maintaining the Trial Master File; carrying out day-to-day administrative coordination of projects; diary/calendar management and organisation of meetings, courses and teaching programmes; ensuring timely research data capture; and providing support for junior staff.

You must be educated to A-Level standard (or equivalent administrative qualifications/experience) and have strong administrative experience. You will have excellent IT literacy, experience of working with databases and knowledge of data management and monitoring activities. Evidence of working to detailed written instructions and an ability to keep clear and accurate records, excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work independently, coordinate a range of activities and use own initiative are essential. Understanding of clinical governance, familiarity with IRAS and experience of working within a registered clinical trials unit would be desirable.

This is a full-time fixed-term appointment for 2 years.
