To lead the kitchen team operations across a multi-site environment, maximising profitability and ensuring superior service and product quality are maintained to all University and Hotel standards. Maximising the team’s performance in order to deliver excellent customer service to all guests, and to follow the requirements of the legal and statutory regulators.

Person Specification

Substantial relevant senior Chef experience, ideally within a hotel or Conference and Banqueting environment Evidence of ongoing development and progression Experience of working with volume Conference and Banqueting Experience of menu writing and implementation Excellent understanding of allergen compliance and training Proven 5 star EHO compliance Advanced Food hygiene is desirable Ability to write, understand and interpret policies and procedures Influencing and negotiating skill Competent IT skills Ability to work on own initiative, prioritise workloads, meet deadlines and work to strict time constraints

Full time starting salary is normally in the range £29,799 to £38,832. With potential progression once in post to £41,212 a year.
