Secretary and Research Administrator

The Faculty of Health and Applied Sciences is seeking to appoint a part time Research Administrator (working 0.6 FTE) on a fixed term basis until 30 June 2020.

About the role:

You will support a range of research activities and provide general administrative support to the Centre for Child and Adolescent Health; a joint academic research centre with the University of Bristol.

Working closely with the UWE Director of the Centre for Child and Adolescent Health, you will support the delivery and reporting of research projects, including international studies such as that to establish an injury research centre in Nepal.

Other activities will include collating and managing information for publications, grant applications and evidence of impact, and providing general administrative support to the team at the Centre for Child and Adolescent Health.

About you:

You will have experience of working within a research or administrative role in higher education, with experience in supporting projects overseas. You will have excellent communication, IT and organisation skills and a flexible approach to work.

This post is not available on a job share basis.
