Fixed Term full-time until 31st December 2018

The post holder will provide professional administrative and residential workshop support to the NHS Leadership Academy programmes and will act as the day to day contact for programme participants. They will ensure that administration and workshops for these programmes are delivered to a very high standard reflecting the seniority of the client base and the needs of the commissioning organisation. The successful candidate needs an exceptionally high level of customer focus with acute attention to detail, excellent communication skills and the ability to work on own initiative, prioritising their own workload. Previous experience of higher education administration and events planning is advantageous.

The post holder is expected to be flexible as the needs of the client and participants may change over time. There will be requirement to travel to various locations in the UK and there will be some evening and weekend working. The role holder may be required to work 7 hour shifts between 8.30am – 8.30pm Monday to Friday (usually a combination of 8.30am – 4.30pm; or 12.30pm – 8.30pm or 10.00am – 6.00pm with some weekend work (3 hours Saturday or Sunday once every 6 weeks).

The post holder will support the External Relations Officer and Senior Academic Programmes Manager.

Starting salary is normally in the range £19,156 to £20,514. With potential progression once in post to £25,009.
