The normal expectation is that the successful applicant will be appointed to the minimum of the agreed scale with annual increments on 1 October each year (subject to completing six months service). 

Main Purpose of the Post

The Marketing Intelligence section of Global Advancement is a high performing collaborative team working to provide evidenced based decision-making to marketing activity in global HE markets. The team use their knowledge and experience of quantitative and qualitative research methods to identify, gather, collate, analyse, and report on internal and external information. The reports produced inform strategic and operational decisions across the University on student recruitment and experience, research and commercial activity.

The post holder will work with the Head of Marketing Intelligence to develop a range of qualitative and quantitative approaches to gather evidence to inform strategic and operational decision-making to underpin University goals. The post holder will also coordinate the collation, manipulation and analysis of qualitative or quantitative data, using suitable methods e.g. focus groups, surveys, behavioural testing, in its various forms.
