We wish to recruit an individual to provide high level, proactive, comprehensive and efficient PA and administrative support for staff in the Division of Infection, Immunity & Respiratory Medicine in the School of Biological Sciences. You will be a key administrative point of contact within the division and will provide a high quality administrative service to a group of academic staff within the Centre for Respiratory and Allergy, based at Wythenshawe Hospital (Manchester University Foundation Trust).

This is a dynamic and demanding role and will involve considerable flexibility and the ability to prioritise tasks in order to deliver administrative support for the academic community within the division and wider community. Your role will be to ensure effective and professional liaison and communication with academic, administrative and external customers at all levels, to facilitate the smooth running of day-to-day activities. With excellent attention to detail and ensuring confidentiality at all times, you will manage the electronic diaries of senior academic colleagues in the Centre for Respiratory and Allergy; you will organise meetings, events, Skype and teleconferencing, book travel and refreshments as required, ensuring all the necessary arrangements and paperwork are in place. 

You will be assigned to a Division within the School, but will be employed by the School and as such may be required to support other areas, from time to time, across the School. There will be a considerable need to respond to change in the foreseeable future and the post holder will actively work to support senior managers in achieving this objective.
