Lecturer for Physician Associate Programme

University of East Anglia - Norwich Medical School

This post is a part-time 0.6 fte post available on an indefinite basis.

The Physician Associate Programme (MSc) at the University of East Anglia is now in its third year, with the first students enrolled in January 2016. This first cohort of students graduated in December 2017 and attained a 100% success rate in the Physician Associate National Examinations in January 2018.

The programme requires an additional staff member, preferably a physician associate with an interest in medical education, to work with the course director and other module leads in all aspects of the delivery of the programme.

This post would primarily be for module organisation of the introductory module, with consultation skills teaching and further module involvement depending on the skills and experience of the successful applicant.

The post holder will have a primary clinical qualification (physician associate preferable, although other clinical qualifications may be considered) and have experience of healthcare in the NHS.

This post will be subject to an enhanced criminal record check from the Disclosure and Barring Service.

Closing date: 4 April 2018
