Research Fellow / Senior Research Fellow in Sustainable Land Use


Applications are invited for a full-time role of Research Fellow or Senior Research Fellow for a period of three years. This exciting strategic appointment will be based in the School of Environment, Natural Resources and Geography and Henfaes Research Centre.

The appointment will be made at Grade 8/9 dependent upon relevant experience.

Candidates should have a PhD in an area of Rural Policy, Agricultural or Environmental Economics, Environmental Science, Sustainable Land Use, or a related subject, and a successful track record of post-doctoral research in a related topic. The successful candidate will work with colleagues to integrate natural and social science knowledge within modelling frameworks to explore effects of changes in policy, markets and industry priorities on sustainable land use.

The successful candidate will be expected to take up the post on 01 July 2018 or as soon as possible thereafter and the post is available for a period of 36 months.
