GW4 Communications Officer

The post of GW4 Communications Officer provides a unique opportunity to work with the alliance of GW4 Universities.  The post-holder will report to the Director of GW4 and lead on the development and implementation of the GW4 communications strategy and will work closely with members of staff from across the four Universities to promote the work of GW4 to both internal and external audiences. 

Leading on the development of the GW4 website, the writing of news stories and case studies about GW4 projects, the post-holder will play an important role in raising the profile of GW4 through effective communications and building relationships.

The post holder will also be expected to support the Director on public affairs, providing guidance to the Director and the GW4 board as required.

A degree of travelling between the four GW4 universities will be expected, but the post-holder will be based close to the Director in Bristol.

The postholder will have a dotted line to the Director of Communications and Marketing at Cardiff University.

The post is full time and open-ended.

Salary: £32,548 - £38,833 per annum (Grade 6)
