Electrician (00082-038)

University of Warwick - Estates Office

Permanent Position (2 posts available).

The Estates Office looks after the Warwick University campus - the land it’s built on and the buildings it’s made up of.

Here is your chance to be part of the team that makes Warwick University’s Estates Department one of the most enjoyable places to work in the Coventry area. Our mission is to deliver excellent customer service by creating, operating and sustaining safe, high quality environments.

We are looking for an Electrician. You will be required to provide a business critical response service, execute routine planned and reactive maintenance duties, carry out fault diagnostic and repairs to a wide range of electrical and mechanical systems and carry out minor installation works for all electrical building services throughout the University.

You will also be required to prioritise your own, semi–skilled electricians and apprentices workload and tasks, taking into account where the problem is, the nature of the problem, the number of people affected and the usage of the building. To record resolutions and feedback to problems to work instructions, complete timesheets, maintain service records and other work related paperwork in priority order. To maintain the tools and equipment for which the electricians are responsible.

You will be a committed, friendly, team player who is keen to progress.

We provide excellent working conditions, training, uniform, all necessary PPE equipment, generous annual leave, pension scheme, childcare vouchers and use of the University's leisure and cultural facilities.
