Research Associate (FITNET-NHS Trial)

University of Bristol - Bristol Medical School (PHS)

We are seeking to appoint a Research Associate to support the running of the large innovative FITNET-NHS trial investigating Internet-delivered treatment in paediatric Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS/ME). The trial recruits teenagers with CFS/ME throughout the UK and treatment is delivered from one clinical service in Bath.

The trial has completed its internal pilot trial phase and progressed successfully into the full trial phase. This is a high profile national NIHR-funded clinical trial and represents an exciting opportunity for a candidate interested in developing their experience in working in child health, CFS/ME, and/or in clinical trials.

The post is available from 01 May 2018 to 30 April 2021.

The post holder will join a research group led by Prof Crawley and based in the Centre of Child and Adolescent Health, Oakfield House.

It is expected that interviews will take place on Wednesday 11 April 2018.
