Postdoctoral Research Fellow

The University of Edinburgh - Centre for Regenerative Medicine

Fixed term for a period of 20 months

We are seeking an independent and motivated Postdoctoral Research Fellow for a 20 month research project exploring the pathology of human post mortem multiple sclerosis tissue, using cutting edge transcriptomic techniques alongside more standard RNA and protein identification. We are interested in the heterogeneity of MS tissue between different white matter and grey matter lesions and the surrounding normal appearing white matter, as we feel this may give insight into disease and repair mechanisms.

This full-time post, based at the MRC Centre for Regenerative Medicine, (35 hours per week) is available on a fixed term basis from 1 May 2018 for 20 months.
