Teaching Fellow in Contemporary Performance Practice

Are you an academic with proven abilities to carry out effective teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level? Are you passionate about delivering an exceptional student experience in a research-intensive Russell Group University? With a PhD (completed or nearing completion) in a field related to Contemporary Performance Practice and with relevant teaching experience, you will be passionate about delivering an exceptional student experience and will have the ability to make an outstanding contribution to the learning environment of the School. You will also be developing a track record in high quality teaching and be engaged in scholarship that supports the development of your work as a teacher.

As a Teaching Fellow in Contemporary Performance Practice you will play a full role in teaching; including planning, delivery and assessment and undertake appropriate administrative and quality assurance responsibilities commensurate with the level and nature of the post. You will take the responsibility for managing modules as well as working as part of a teaching team on other modules. You will contribute to the development of the School’s curriculum portfolio in line with the School strategy. You will serve as a personal tutor and be able and willing to support students effectively throughout their time at University.
