Reception/Estates Administrator

University of Gloucestershire - Estates Department

2 posts available

21.25 hours per week (0.574 FTE)

The Estates Department is responsible for the general estate management of the University’s portfolio of land and property. We maintain and upkeep over 60 University-owned buildings (both residential and non-residential) including a number of buildings which are of special interest.

We are seeking two part-time Receptionists/Administrators to join our busy team in supporting Estates-based activities throughout the University, but particularly at our Park Campus. The successful candidates will provide a professional and customer-focused front of house service to all University students, staff, and visitors. You will need to be approachable, calm, and pro-active. Confident communicating with people at all levels both face-to-face and by telephone, you will support the day to day smooth operation of the Campus by liaising closely with colleagues across the University.

For business reasons, our preference is for a morning receptionist (8.45am-1pm) and an afternoon receptionist (12.45pm-5pm) - each position being 0.574 FTE (21.25hrs p/w). In your application please express a preference for the morning or afternoon shift or, alternatively, let us know that you would like to be considered for either. Flexibility may be required at certain times to accommodate peaks in workload or to support specific events.

Closing Date: Monday 2nd April 2018.

Interview Date: Thursday 19th/Friday 20th April 2018.

The University understands the benefits of recruiting a diverse range of people and welcome applications from under-represented sections of the community.

Please download and save the Application for Employment Form to your computer. You will need to complete this form as part of the online application process. Your application will not be considered without this form.
