We are now seeking a Lecturer in Law to make a substantial contribution to our teaching of the LLB and LLM degrees and to produce world-class research in a supportive and nurturing environment. We are particularly keen to attract applicants with teaching and research expertise in the fields of tax law and the history of tax. Please note this position is available from 01 February 2019.

You will have a good first degree (or equivalent qualifications/experience) and have or be working towards a PhD in a relevant subject area (or have equivalent experience).  You must have proven teaching ability, evidence of sustained and continuing research performance and excellent organisational skills.

You will join over 70 academic and teaching staff and a large professional support team. The total student body numbers around 1,200 undergraduates and more than 200 postgraduates. The School has a dedicated home in Bartolome House, a Grade II listed building, close to the main campus and library with easy access to the centre of Sheffield.
