Assistant Professor in Pharmacy

The University of Nottingham, Malaysia Campus - School of Pharmacy

The School of Pharmacy at the University of Nottingham is seeking to recruit a new member of the academic staff based at the Malaysia Campus. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of academic excellence and they will also ideally have experience of the pharmacy profession in Malaysia and/or the UK.

The School currently has significant expertise in drug discovery, drug delivery and social pharmacy and we are looking for an individual who could either complement or add to this portfolio. We have very strong links with our UK campus and would welcome applicants who would like to exploit the opportunity for international collaborative research and teaching. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues in Malaysia and the School in the UK in a collaborative approach to meet the principles and values set out in the university’s Global Strategy 2020

The successful candidate is expected to contribute to normal academic activities through the delivery of high quality teaching and research and will be required to undertake administrative work/management functions as required and to generally assist with the efficient and effective running of the School of Pharmacy and the wider university. Opportunities for regular travel to the UK campus will be provided to facilitate this.
