The Nuffield Department of Population Health (NDPH) contains world-renowned population health research groups and it provides an excellent environment for multi-disciplinary research and teaching. The department is home to major international research institutes such as the Clinical Trial Service Unit (CTSU) and is a key partner in the new Oxford University Big Data Institute (BDI).

As a Systems Analyst, you will be part of a team responsible for requirement gathering, analysis and documentation activities for CTSU’s large-scale clinical trials and for major clinical research projects conducted in CTSU and the BDI. The focus of the role will be to determine and document requirements for new software and will require close liaison with academic staff, principal investigators, systems developers and the validation and testing group.

To be considered, you will be educated to degree level (or equivalent), have demonstrable experience of analysing and managing requirements for a range of IT projects and demonstrable problem solving ability. You will also have strong proficiency in a range of computer applications and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

The position is full-time (part-time considered) and fixed-term for 2 years.
