Course Administrator

Anglia Ruskin University - Faculty of Medical Science

About Anglia Ruskin University:
Anglia Ruskin is a vibrant workplace and our University is gaining prominence both nationally and internationally. We have ambitious plans for the future and we are determined that our students and staff will realise their full potential. Our main campuses in the cities of Cambridge, Chelmsford and Peterborough have been transformed with major capital investment. With an annual turnover of over £200m, we are a major force for higher education and one of the largest universities in the East of England.

About the role:
We are proud of the lifelong relationships formed by those who work and study with us, and of the friendly atmosphere - which visitors quickly identify as unusual for such a large organisation. We were proud to be pronounced Entrepreneurial University of the Year 2014.

Our new School of Medicine will open in September 2018 at our Chelmsford campus. We're looking for an administrator to provide support and co-ordinate the administrative processes for all aspects relating to the School of Medicine courses and student lifecycle. You'll be responsible for registering students, supporting and participating in the induction process and maintaining the student records database. In addition, you'll respond to staff and student enquiries, organise and minute meetings and produce ad hoc reports.

Ideally with a degree, you'll have 2 'A' levels in relevant subjects and excellent IT and customer service skills, a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office and previous administrative experience gained in a busy University or commercial environment. An effective communicator, you'll be conscientious, will possess good organisational skills and will have previous experience of working with confidential information.

For informal enquiries, please contact Kimberley Drummond on Kimberley.drummond@anglia.ac.uk.

Interviews are expected to take place on 21 May 2018.
