Skretting ARC is currently looking for an experienced Researcher in feed Production and a researcher in shrimp or warm water fish species nutrition both with an innovative mindset and good collaboration skills. In the roles, you will be a key player in the development of novel aquafeed products and processes or optimizing shrimp and fish diets for our fast growing manufacturing operations world-wide.

Main tasks in Feed Production include:

  • Planning, coordination and execution of R&D work related to process and product development
  • Testing, evaluating and documentation of novel processes and technologies in our pilot plant or our operating companies
  • Communication of results and findings to our key stakeholders and assist in implementation
  • Develop, document and maintain global standards in fish feed production
  • Provide technical support in aquafeed production and process technology to our operating companies

Main tasks for Shrimp or Fish Nutrition include:

  • Planning, coordination and execution of research studies related to shrimp and warm water fish nutrition
  • Management of collaborative projects with internal and external partners
  • Communication of results and findings to our key stakeholders and assist in implementation
  • Provide technical support relating to nutritional issues to our operating companies

Qualifications Feed production:

  • MSc in Process Technology, Feed Manufacturing, Food Technology, Engineering or equivalent
  • Proven track record in the development of new concepts and technologies
  • Experience with main aqua feed production operations is preferable, but not required

Qualifications Shrimp or Fish Nutrition

  • PhD in fish or shrimp nutrition related field or equivalent work experience
  • Competence in experimental design of animal trials and proficiency in statistics
  • Knowledge of shrimp feed formulation and/or aquatic animal physiology/biochemistry is preferable, but not a requirement

Personal skills:

  • Innovative mindset, including a hands-on and target-oriented mentality
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • High proficiency in the English language
