The Economics and Policy Group at CJBS seeks to increase its global visibility through its research outputs, including publications in core Economics and Management Journals as well as placing its PhD graduates in academic careers.

The SRA will focus on research into business economics / industrial organisation and will be expected to collaborate in research with faculty across the Business School. The post holder will also contribute to teaching and participate in other Business School activities. Applications will be welcome from practitioners who have made innovative contributions to the subject area, as well as from academics in the field.

You will be highly motivated, energetic and engaged candidate, capable of taking initiative and hold a PhD in a relevant specialist subject. You should also have significant research, teaching and practical experience in the areas of business economics, with sufficient breadth/depth of specialist knowledge in competition policy, regulatory economics and econometric analysis of company data. Knowledge of microeconomics and industrial organisation is a prerequisite for this role.

This is a full-time fixed term post, based in Central Cambridge, for 3 years in the first instance.
