To succeed in the role you will need a degree, professional marketing qualification or higher degree, and professional experience. Additionally, you will have a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and an innovative approach to delivering the curriculum and, ideally, experience of higher education, including module leadership, a clear research record or course leadership experience although applications from candidates with senior professional experience seeking to move to a career in education will also be welcome.

We particularly welcome applications from candidates who have experience of, and the ability to teach, marketing communications, social media/digital marketing and consumer behaviour.

The Brighton Business School is ranked in the top 5 UK business schools for the impact of our research. The marketing group is actively engaged in research and publication, with particular strengths in social/ethical marketing, CSR, cross-cultural marketing and B2B marketing. We have a long-established successful marketing master’s programme, and recently launched a specialist undergraduate marketing course.
