The Institute of Education is looking for a Lecturer(s) in Education to teach, develop and lead modules at undergraduate level. There are three key elements to the full time role. However, we would welcome applications from those wishing to undertake either combination of all elements, two combined elements or a single element of this role.

This presents an ideal opportunity for candidates interested in a job share position or part time working.

There are three key elements that we are looking to fulfil:

  • Teaching and support for the Education Studies Programme (0.4 FTE, 14 hours per week)
  • Teaching and support of Primary English with particular expertise in early reading (0.2FTE, 7 hours per week)
  • Special Education Needs Co-Ordinator Programme Director (0.4FTE, 14 hours per week)

You will have:

  • A first degree.
  • Expert knowledge of educational provision for students with diverse needs.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • Specialist knowledge and experience relevant to the element(s) of the role for which you are making an application. Please refer to the Job description and Person Specification for the detailed requirements for specific aspects of this role..
