Dubai Ports World Professorship of Entrepreneurship and Innovation

Said Business School seeks to secure an outstanding researcher and educator who will be expected to conceive, initiate and manage a significant programme of work on contemporary entrepreneurship and innovation issues, preferably giving emphasis to matters that are important to the future of these areas as an academic and professional discipline. It is critical that the successful candidate’s areas of focus will contribute to, and help advance, the School’s emphasis on tackling world-scale challenges related to the future of entrepreneurship and innovation. We acknowledge that this field is broad and candidates may have backgrounds some combination of innovation/technology, entrepreneurship or social innovation.

The successful candidate for this Professorship will have a world-class academic background and be committed to a programme of intellectually rigorous, up-to-date, and relevant research in the field that is publishable in the top academic journals.

The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to School’s graduate teaching programmes, in particular the MBA and EMBA programmes, as well as to contribute to the School’s executive education activities, which span open enrolment and custom programmes. The successful candidate will join and contribute to one of the academic areas of the school. Given the range of possible topics, the determination of the appropriate area will be done in consultation with the candidate.
