Senior Research Associate (Sustainable Operations Management)

The role will primarily involve supporting existing research projects and developing new research opportunities in the area of Sustainable Operations Management.  Research interests aligned with one or more of the following current projects would be advantageous; social sustainability in ‘fair trade’ supply chains, humanitarian logistics, and creating, measuring and sustaining value in non-profit organisations.  The purpose of the role is to work as a collaborative member of research teams to analyse secondary source material, conduct interviews, administer surveys and analyse qualitative and quantitative data.

You will also disseminate research findings through relevant journals, conferences and seminars to further the institution’s standing in the HE and research community and contribute to the development of new areas in the field of Sustainable Operations Management.

You will have responsibility for leading parts of projects, working in research teams, and developing own research, under the overall direction of the Head of Department.
