Head of Alumni Relations

Saïd Business School at Oxford University is seeking to recruit a Head of Alumni Relations to play a central role in raising the profile of alumni relations throughout the School and University.

Developing and maintaining relationships with alumni is a central aspect of the School’s planning.

As Head of Alumni Relations you will be responsible for leading, shaping, and driving the strategy for alumni engagement. You will manage and lead the Alumni Relations team, inform and re-engage the alumni community, and work with the Alumni Advisory Council. Working collaboratively with colleagues across the University, you will build strong relationships with students, faculty, and external partners.

In this role you will take responsibility for the communications, marketing, and digital strategies; exploring opportunities to bring the Business School content to the alumni community; and integrating communication efforts with the rest of the School. You will design a series of events that bring current students into contact with alumni, and also take responsibility for managing the Alumni Relations budget.

The successful candidate will have experience of managing a team, expertise in the design and management of a major events programme, and the proven ability to build and sustain a major network. Bringing significant experience of international relationship management, you will have a University degree and be a highly-effective communicator with the ability to build strong relationships with senior external partners.
